I will need a number of appliances, and they will all serve a purpose. Since I will own this house, and there will be no gas line, I will have to do everything with electric which is done by design. I will need to acquire the following appliances.
House
For the house’s kitchen, there will be a refrigerator. This refrigerator will be able to support a 1 liter bottle of water for the water dispenser. This will mean I will not have to store gallons of water in the refrigerator to keep cool wanter on hand. The refrigerator will be a bottom load freezer to keep things organized, and optimized. There will also be an induction stove. This will require compatible cookware, but I will need new cookware anyways, and my cash on hand can handle that easily enough – especially since it will be a need. I will have a 1kw microwave which will cook quick meals, and heat up leftovers. If I had a windfall of money, and receiving sufficient income, I should be able to eat healthier. I will also have a dishwasher. When I use a cookware, or dishwater, I will rinse off, and place it in the dishwasher. At night before going to bed, the dishwasher will operate and be finished by the time I wake up.
For the living room, I will want a tablet. The tablet will be a control center for the smart home features of the house. The tablet will be intended to keep in the living room, and offer changes to lighting, and color as well as turn up the heat, or spin the fan. There will also be an 80″ basic TV. This will be hard to find, and I only found one manufacturer that would meet my needs. I want a basic TV as I will be plugging an Apple TV into the basic TV. Therefore, there is no need to have a smart TV platform installed into the TV. Also, the Apple TV is likely to have more capable components than what a TV might have.
For the bathroom, I will have a bluetooth water resistant speaker. This will allow me to sent my phone in a cubby next to the bathroom which the phone will sit there to keep it from getting damaged. The speaker will play whatever music the phone will be playing. This will be practical, and efficient.
The laundry room will have a double load washer, and a double load dryer. These machines as the name implies is a double load. This will eliminate the need for me to go to a laundromat to wash and dry heavy blankets. Even if I was willing, it would take 2 buses to get to the only laundromat I know of. I am sure there are others, but this might require a bus to get there. By having a double load machine, I can do more clothes at one time, also saving money on the water bill.
Apartment
In the apartment’s kitchen, there will be some differences. The refrigerator will be more basic with a water dispenser, but no guarantee for a 1 liter bottle support. The freezer will be top loading, and sufficient for most tenant’s needs. Since there is no gas line, the stove will be a glass top electric stove. This will be a benefit to the tenant as cleaning a glass surface is much easier than trying to get into the nooks and crannies of the various parts for the gas, or electric stove. There will be no dishwasher. Instead, there will be a single load clothes washer/dryer combination. This will allow the tenant to do their laundry without the need to go to the laundromat. It will take more time for the cycle at between 2-3 hours, but the clothes will be clean and dry. The best time to use the machine will be before going to bed.
